Rajesh Singhi

Rajesh is a renowned rural development leader and founder of Ibtada, a grassroots organization in Mewat, Alwar, working for women’s empowerment, girls’ education, and livelihood promotion among Meo Muslims. A graduate of IRMA, he has over 24 years of experience in building credible community-led institutions.

He pioneered the Pashu Sakhi model — now replicated across India — and also introduced Krishi Sakhies and Adhikar Sakhies as grassroots change agents. His journey is featured in “Gems of Purest Ray Serene” by Tata Trusts.

Rajesh now serves as Program Leader at RCRC, a national NGO coalition, and is a founding member of The Goat Trust and Centre for Microfinance. He is also an international fellow with prestigious programs in the USA.
